YouTube Star Jack Doherty Arrested in Miami on Drug Charges After Filming Stunt in Roadway
YouTube sensation Jack Doherty, known for his high-energy prank videos and headline-grabbing stunts, was arrested in Miami Beach on Saturday following an incident that police say put both drivers and pedestrians at risk.
Doherty, 22, who has amassed over 15 million YouTube subscribers, was taken into custody on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis (20 grams or less), and resisting an officer without violence, according to Miami-Dade jail records.

Incident Started When Doherty Walked Into Roadway to Film Content
According to an arrest report, Miami Beach Police were conducting a high-visibility enforcement operation in the 700 block of Washington Avenue when officers noticed a group of people step into the street. One of them — later identified as Doherty — remained in the middle of the roadway while reportedly recording video content.
Police say the stunt created a safety hazard, and officers instructed Doherty to move out of the street. When he refused, he was warned that he would be arrested if he continued to ignore commands.
Instead of complying, the report states Doherty responded, “Once I’m done with this bet,” and remained in the roadway.
Officers then moved him to the side, where he allegedly continued to resist instructions, leading to his arrest.
