Meet the Corvette ZR1X: America’s 1,250HP Hybrid Beast Redefining Hypercar Standards With lightning-fast acceleration, cutting-edge hybrid tech, and a jaw-dropping 1,250 horsepower, the ZR1X is here to shake up the supercar world.
Chevrolet isn’t slowing down in the performance race. Fresh off the debut of the record-shattering 1,064HP Corvette ZR1, the American automaker has already raised the bar with something even wilder: the Corvette ZR1X, a 1,250-horsepower, all-wheel-drive hybrid hypercar that rockets from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds.
Yes, it’s real. And yes—it’s a hybrid.
Recently unveiled during a private debut, the ZR1X merges brutal performance with electric innovation, drawing DNA from both the ZR1 and the Corvette E-Ray. The result? A hypercar that’s not just the fastest Corvette ever, but one of the most advanced performance machines America has ever built.

A New Corvette King Has Arrived
Starting with the 490HP Stingray and climbing through the 670HP Z06 and 655HP hybrid E-Ray, Chevrolet’s Corvette family offers performance at every level. The recently released ZR1 already stunned the world with its twin-turbocharged V8 and a top speed of 233 mph—starting at $175,000.
But now, the ZR1X takes it even further, combining the turbocharged fury of the ZR1 with the electrified powertrain of the E-Ray. The result: 1,250HP, all-wheel drive, blistering acceleration, and advanced aerodynamics—all fine-tuned for track domination.

Tech-Packed Hybrid Performance Corvette ZR1X
Despite being a hybrid, the ZR1X isn’t made for fuel savings—it’s engineered for maximum performance. Its upgraded battery pack increases capacity by 26%, paired with new drive modes tailored for the racetrack:
Endurance Mode: Delivers consistent front motor power without draining the battery.
Qualifying Mode: Pushes maximum energy for fastest lap times.
Push-to-Pass: Instantly dumps power to overtake at lightning speed.
Stopping power matches the speed, with massive 16.5-inch carbon brakes from Alcon that deliver a neck-snapping 1.9G of braking force.

Handling Meets Horsepower
Surprisingly, the ZR1X retains the same tire size as the ZR1, thanks to meticulous engineering with Michelin and advanced traction control software. According to Corvette’s engineering team, the ZR1X maintains the same composure and balance as the base Stingray—only with 2.5x the power.
“You can do things in the ZR1X that the rear-wheel-drive cars just can’t manage,” says Josh Holder, Corvette’s chief engineer.

Pricing & Availability
Chevrolet hasn’t revealed the official pricing yet, but it’s safe to expect a starting price near or above \$200,000. With advanced hybrid systems, upgraded brakes, and cutting-edge software, it may edge into the realm of European supercar territory.
Testing has already begun on the legendary Nürburgring circuit, with over 600 miles logged. While it’s designed for the track, all signs point to a hypercar equally capable on real-world roads.
