Jelly Roll Shaves His Beard for the First Time in 10 Years — Fans React to His Jaw-Dropping Transformation
Jelly Roll just revealed the most dramatic makeover of his career — and it has nothing to do with his music.
The country-rap star, 40, has officially shaved his beard for the first time in ten years, a change so unexpected that even his wife, influencer and podcast host Bunnie Xo, was caught off guard. She broke the news to fans in a viral Instagram video posted on Nov. 13, documenting the makeover moment in real time.
“I’ve been with my husband almost a decade, and I have never seen this man without facial hair. Not once,” Bunnie joked as she filmed Jelly Roll prepping for the shave. The surprise transformation came during a photoshoot day — and apparently, his newly slimmed-down face inspired the bold decision.
“Now that he’s so skinny… look at that jawline!” Bunnie teased. “We wanna see that jawline, right ladies?”
Jelly Roll, who has lost nearly 200 pounds since starting his health journey in 2022, leaned into the joke. “We’re trying to see if a facelift might be in order,” he said with a laugh before disappearing off-camera to begin trimming.

Bunnie tried to avoid peeking too early, telling her audience, “I’m not looking until it’s all done. He tried to show me and I said absolutely not.” At one point, Jelly Roll even kicked her out of the room so he could finish the big reveal in peace.
When she was finally allowed back in, she walked in on her husband experimenting with different facial-hair eras — from a strict “cop stash” to a goatee — before he ultimately went fully clean-shaven.

Bunnie covered her mouth and gasped, admitting, “The total naked face… it’s not terrible,” still trying to process his unfamiliar new look.

But their friends? They completely lost it. One yelled, “Oh my God, I’m gonna cry.” Another blurted out, “What the f—? I am scared.”

This transformation arrives as Jelly Roll continues his massive body-recomposition journey.
